Glenbeigh, often referred to as “The Jewel in the Ring of Kerry”

We are situated in the village of Glenbeigh in the centre of the popular and world famous Ring of Kerry (N70) close to the four mile curve of Rossbeigh Beach. Glenbeigh, often referred to as “The Jewel in the Ring of Kerry” and nestles beneath the Seefin mountain (1,621 ft) at the entrance of a horseshoe of mountains where the Behy river mingles with the waters of Dingle Bay. Set amongst mountains, lakes and rivers, a more idyllic setting for touring, fishing, shooting and mountaineering would be difficult to conceive. It is a very popular holiday base for touring the Ring of Kerry and from which to explore the rest of the Kingdom of Kerry, as we are within easy access of the other coastal towns and villages; being 10 minutes from Killorglin and Kells, 25 minutes from Caherciveen and 30 minutes from Killarney.

Rossbeigh Beach is a long spit of sand, beach and dunes. Accredited with the Blue Flag status the beach is an excellent amenity for swimming, walking, canoeing and surfing.

Within the immediate area of Glenbeigh village, we are 2 minutes from the Blue Flag beach of Rossbeigh. A brisk walk along the 6 miles of beach will have you gasping for one of our famous pints of Guinness (voted locally as the best pint in the village!)
